Summary:	Letter to the commissary general of the official of the court of York and the dean of Christianity of York informing them that, on 6 February last, immediately after vespers, Master William called Legatus and John de Gray, professor of civil law, members of the household of Thomas [Hatfield], bishop of Durham, and others, with the knowledge and complicity of the bishop, broke into the choir of York Minster, shouting, breaking wind under the crucifix, and carrying out other harmful and blasphemous actions; with instructions that they are to issue a monition to William and John specifically, and the others generally, to make satisfaction for these outrages within fifteen days, and to excommunicate them if they do not.
