Summary: Request to the archdeacon of Stow, Lincoln diocese, or his official, to examine twenty seven witnesses in Stow church, Lincoln diocese, in relation to a cause concerning forgotten tithes and mortuaries from people and goods of Broadholme (Brodholm) lying in Thorney (Thornhaugh), pending before the archbishop between the prioress and convent of Broadholme and Thomas, vicar of Saxilby (Saxelby).

Two damaged marginal notes relate to the schedules and interrogatories stated to be enclosed with these letters, and one seemingly changed the location from Stow to Torksey.
