| Summary: | Sentence concerning the cause heard before John de Nassington, junior, official of York, between William Lee, priest, claiming to have been presented to the vicarage of Blyth by the prior and convent of Blyth after the death of Robert de Burton, and Gregory de Neuton [Newton], claiming to be the incumbent (details given). The archbishop found for Neuton, saying that Lee had not proved his case; with a notarial subscription by Richard de Snoweshill [Snowshill], clerk of Worcester diocese, notary public, and witnessed by John de Sutton, John de Guthemundham [Goodmanham], Thomas de Barneby, Richard de Otringham [Ottringham] and others. |
