Summary: Mandate to Master Robert de Beverl' [Beverley], official of the court of York, not to publish, or cause to be published, any of his letters detailing the process against those who injured Thomas de Claxeby [Claxby], vicar of Newark, lately ejected and abducted from his vicarage, a copy of which he had sent to the archbishop by the archbishop's household clerk Henry de Barton, he having openly published such letters in many churches throughout the deaneries of Newark, Nottingham and Doncaster in spite of the archbishop's prohibition.
