| Summary: | Mandate to the dean of Bingham for a monition in the churches of Rempstone, East Leake (Leyk), Bunny, Wysall (Wuso) and Thorpe-in-the-Glebe (Thorp) to all those who have, according to the complaint of Richard de Paxton, rector of Costock (Cortlyngstok), presumed to remove for four years those tithes due to him and his church by reason of sheep pastured in his parish, and to induce them to restore those tithes within fifteen days, making inquiry into their names and citing those he shall find guilty to appear before the official of the court of York, or his commissary, in York Minster ready to answer the rector in this matter; with order to certify his actions by his letters patent. |
