Summary: Request to John [Dalderby], bishop of Lincoln, to summon William Burdun [Burdon], rector of Hinton in the Hedges (Hynton) [Northamptonshire], Lincoln diocese, to appear before the archbishop, for having committed incest with Ellen de Swylington [Swillington] the daughter of his uncle, the rector of Swillington, York diocese, an action having previously been taken against him, but that he had taken the girl into Lincoln diocese with him. Because the crime had been committed in York diocese, he should undergo correction there.
