Summary: Order to Roger de Thornton, archbishop’s receiver of York, to pay the abbot of York, St Mary, collector of the papal tenth imposed by Pope Clement, perhaps the fourth of four papal taxes initially granted in 1309, 100 marks for the second collection; and 100 marks before 1 April, for the second collection of the first year of the six papal tenths imposed in 1312 by Pope Clement at the council of Vienne (two separate entries).
