Summary: Commission from the archbishop, papal executor, to Master Guillaume Teste (William Testa), archdeacon of Aran and the official of the Bishop of London, to cite John called Francoys [Fraunceys], clerk, and John de Markefeld [Markenfield], canon of York, to appear in a cause between them and Thomas de Ceccano, to be heard by Master Gauscelin Johannis [de Jean], canon of Cahors, chaplain of the papal palace and auditor causarum, regarding claims to the prebend of Riccall in York Minster, once held by Adinulfo de' Conti of Anagni (Adenulph de Anagnia). Similar commissions to the abbot of York, St Mary, and priors of York, Holy Trinity, and York, St Andrew, and citations to Francoys and Markefeld.
