Summary: Order to Hugh de Thorntoft, archbishop's receiver at Howden, to deliver to John de Haytfeld [Hatfield], bearer of these letters, as many hens as he requires, now and in the future, to be taken to Bishopthorpe (Thorp'), and to have the wheat and barley due to the archbishop in Howdenshire carried to the archbishop's manor of Cawood; with an allowance for any payments made for carriage of corn by water between Riccall (Rykale) and Cawood (Cawode).
