| Summary: | Letter to Master Giles de Reddemere [Redmere], canon of Lincoln, archbishop's kinsman, informing him that the archbishop was sending him an acquittance (receipt) for 800 marks to Simon de Grimesby [Grimsby] and John de Trehampton, collectors in Lindsey, Lincolnshire, of the fifteenth and tenth granted to the king, for him to deliver to them on payment of the 800 marks; with a request to make a gift of 10 marks from the money to Simon and John, and to keep the remainder safe under further orders. |
