Summary: Acquittance (receipt) for £83 6s 8d received from the archbishop by the hands of the treasurer from monies collected by the abbot of York, St Mary's Abbey for the six papal tenths imposed in 1312, as a loan from the pope.
Note:
The document appears to be an acknowledgement of receipt, but is stated to be a bond (obligatio), presumably because the money was intended to be repaid to the pope.
