| Summary: | Memorandum of the archbishop's intention to hold a provincial council on 20 May 1310 in York Minster for inquiries on articles in papal letters into individual members of the order of the Knights Templar and the order as a whole, to Anthony [Bek], bishop of Durham, with memoranda of similar letters to John [de Halton], bishop of Carlisle, and Thomas [de Kirkcudbright], bishop of Galloway [Whithorn; Candida Casa], including the letter of summons to the bishop of Durham (recited); with memoranda of similar letters sent to the other two bishops (three entries). |
