| Summary: | Incomplete and undated letter from the abbot and convent of St Mary's, York, collectors of the three clerical tenths granted to Edward III in 1344 and of the two clerical tenths granted in 1347, to the keepers of the spirituality of Allerton and Allertonshire, concerning a sentence of greater excommunication imposed upon those of the archdeaconry of Cleveland and the spirituality of Allerton and Allertonshire who had not paid the sums due. A further note states that it was cancelled because it is in the section for Diverse Letters. |
