| Summary: | Letters testimonial for David de Wolloure [Wooler], canon of York Minster, pursuant to an agreement related in the archbishop's house by Westminster on 1 October [1353] between him and Master Adam Robelyn, for his demise to Adam, due before All Saints then next, of the right to and possession of the prebend of Thorpe Lidget in Howden Minster, and the removal of the incumbent vicar, even though neither Adam nor his proctor could attend on the appointed day and there being no reason found within the registers as to why the vicar, appointed by the prior of Durham, patron of all vicarages within the Minster, ought to be removed. |
