| Summary: | Mandate to the dean of Bingham to summon the executors of Robert de Loughteburgh [Loughborough], formerly rector of Stanford on Soar, any who hold his goods and others with an interest, and inquire by trustworthy men, both clerks and laymen, into the alleged defects in the chancel, the books and other ornaments of the church from his time as rector and into how much it would be to make good such defects, sequestering the taxable amount from the goods of the deceased; with order to certify his findings and actions by letters patent. |
