Summary: Commission to Master Simon de Courtmaiour [Courmayeur], canon of Southwell, and Master William de Hundon, rector of Barnburgh, to enquire into a petition from Henry [Mansfield], the dean, and the chapter of Lincoln, who claim that John son of Andrew Hod of Stickney (Stikeney), clerk, and Ralph atte Abbotes of Lincoln, clerk, convicted before the secular courts, have escaped from the custody of the bishop of Lincoln in Newark castle and have sought sanctuary at Southwell. If this is true, they are to hand the fugitives over to the bishop's ministers.
