Summary: Certification to the archbishop by the commissary general of the official of York of the execution of a commission (dated at Cawood, 24 January 1324) to pronounce a sentence of deprivation upon Michael de Middelton (Middleton); together with a notarial instrument containing proceedings against Michael for failing to be ordained priest within three years of his institution to a portion of the church of Osmotherley (Osmunderley) and for contumacy for not appearing when summoned.
