Summary: Notification of the absolution of Walter de Harum [Harome] from a sentence of greater excommunication pronounced upon him by Thomas [Corbridge], formerly archbishop of York, the archbishop's predecessor, at the instance of Master Thomas [de Malton], rector of Kippax (Kypass), in which Master Henry de Wilton, commissary general of the official of York, and Adam de Hedon [Headon], holding a parsonage in the church of York, were commissaries to proceed, with an order to the dean of Doncaster for the absolution to be published in the deanery of Doncaster.
