Summary: Order to the official of the archdeacon of York to cease a visitation of the archdeaconry begun on the authority of Gerard de Sysiriaco, who has claimed to be the vicar of the archdeacon, with power to conduct the visitation, but has shown no evidence of his appointment. The visitation is to cease until the dean and chapter are shown evidence of Sysiriaco's appointment.
