| Summary: | Request to King Edward III that he order the sheriff of Nottinghamshire to restore the goods and chattels of Stephen Pavely of Ruddington (Rotyngton), clerk, seized into the king's hands after Stephen was accused of the death of Sir Richard Pavely, knight, as he made purgation before Master John Fraunceys, then commissary of the dean and chapter of York, keepers of the spiritualities of the archdiocese during the vacancy following the death of Archbishop Thomas de Corbrigg [Corbridge]. |
