| Summary: | Note of the institution and induction by the official of the archdeacon of the East Riding of William Bromley, clerk, to the chapelries of Octon and Swaythorpe, vacant by the resignation of Marmaduke Stanell and Adam Cok [Cook or Cock], the previous priests, following an inquisition into the vacancy and patronage which discovered that the patronage which had pertained to Thomas Thweng, lord of Octon and Swaythorpe, had reverted to the Crown by escheat. |
