Summary: The archbishop's commission to the abbot and convent of Selby to collect in the archdeaconry of York the clerical tenth granted to Henry IV from the Northern province in 1404; with similar commissions to the prior and convent of Bridlington, to collect in the archdeaconry of the East Riding, the church and provostry of Beverley and the jurisdiction of Howden and Howdenshire; the abbot and convent of Byland, to collect in the archdeaconry of Cleveland and the jurisdiction of Allerton and Allertonshire; the abbot and convent of Easby, to collect in the archdeaconry of Richmond and from the church of Ripon, and the prior and convent of Shelford to collect half the tenth in the archdeaconry of Nottingham and from the collegiate church of Southwell (two entries).
