Summary: Notarial instrument containing the resignation (recited) of Master John de Luco (or Luk' or Luca), canon of the chapel of York, St Mary and the Holy Angels, from his prebend in the chapel (witnesses named); with a notarial subscription by Edward de Ebor [York], clerk, notary public, and his elaborate notarial mark (insert).
Note:
This is the face of the document, containing a copy of the resignation in Reg 7, f. 14v, entry 7. The initial capital 'I' of the first word of the opening of the text, 'In dei nomine', is decorated.
