Summary: Inquisition, held at Newark before Edmund Deyncurt [Deyncourt]; John de Insula [Lisle], and John de Doncastr' [Doncaster], in the presence of Boniface de Saluciis [Saluzzo], chaplain of Tickhill (Tykhill), to determine whether the archbishop of York (or the dean and chapter of York during vacancies) and the archdeacon of Nottingham have jurisdiction over the incumbents of the churches of Lowdham (Loudham), East Markham (Estmarkam), Markham Clinton (West Markham), North Wheatley (Wheteley), Harworth (Hareworth), East Bridgford (Estbriggeford) and Walesby (details given).
