Summary: Copy of a grant in frankalmoign by John [FitzRichard], constable of Chester (Cestria), to Roger [de Pont L'Eveque], archbishop of York and his successors, of woods called Bilhaugh (Bile Hagha) and Brendwode (unidentified), saving the common of pasture of Harworth, and also of the vill of Plumtree (Plumtre) (details given) (witnesses named). Endorsed 'Carta de Plumptre' (Charter of Plumtree), with a note of examination, and a reference to a response (not found) in the archdeaconry of Nottingham (insert).
