Summary: Copy of the ordination, confirmed by the notarial instrument drawn up in York Minster by Thomas de Whitewell [Whitwell], notary public, on 12 September 1307, of the vicarage of the church of Adlingfleet (Athelingflet), appropriated to the abbot and convent of Selby, made by William de Pykeryng [Pickering], archdeacon of Nottingham, executor with [Walter Langton] the bishop of Coventry and Lichfield of Pope Clement V, pursuant to the bull of Pope Clement V (recited), and to the benefit, at that time, of Robert de Thorp, vicar, and his successors.
