| Summary: | Letter of the archbishop as papal judge-delegate; the bishop of Hereford and Rigaud de Asserio, bishop elect of Winchester, to Master John of Nassington, official of the archdeacon of Nottingham and the rector of Screveton (Kyrketon), with a papal bull (Avignon, 23 January 1320, recited) ordering the citation of the incumbent of Ratcliffe on Soar to appear before the pope within three months, bringing documentation, on charges by Bertrand du Pouget, cardinal priest of S. Marcello, that he intruded into the benefice unlawfully. |
