Summary: Notification to Master Robert de Beverlaco [Beverley], official of the court of York, that the archbishop has inspected copies of certain of his letters which he proposed to publish concerning the injuries inflicted upon the vicar of Newark, for which letters of the king have been obtained but remain to be discussed before the king's council, and that he does not wish the first letter concerning the denunciation and excommunication of the vicar's abductors to be issued; however, the deputation of the church to a keeper in the vicar's absence and the process against the men of religion to whom the church is supposed to have been appropriated for the penalty they incurred for not repairing the chancel are to be put into effect without delay (insert).
