Summary: Summons to Richard [Kellaw], bishop of Durham, to attend convocation with the prelates and clergy of his city and diocese [to discuss a subsidy for the king for repelling the Scots under Robert de Brus [Robert Bruce] who were occupying towns and fortresses in the march between England and Scotland, and were threatening Berwick upon Tweed (Berewycum super Twedam)]; with a memorandum of similar summonses to the bishop of Carlisle and the bishop of Galloway (Candida Casa; Whithorn), and a similar summons to the dean and chapter of York (three entries).
