Summary: Order to the dean and chapter of York to make public and explain in the mother tongue (English) the archbishop's decision to reserve to himself absolution from sentences in cases of perjury in law courts, with some exceptions, with a memorandum that similar letters were sent to the archdeacons of York, Cleveland, the East Riding, Nottingham and Richmond or their officials; the chapters of the collegiate churches of Southwell, Beverley and Ripon and the keepers of the spiritualities of Howden, Allerton and Allertonshire and Selby.
