Summary: Fragment of a document (insert) containing on the face (f. 272v), apparently a record of the oath of obedience to the archbishop of a new head of a religious house, and on the dorse (f.272r), a record of his benediction by the archbishop; witnesses: [...] Roderham [?John de Rotherham, clerk of the archbishop's household; rector of Doncaster] and Hugh de Wheteley [Wheatley], [also clerk of the archbishop's household], priests.
