Summary: Appropriation of the church of Hatfield (Haytefeld) to Roche abbey (Rupes), the patronage and advowson being granted by the king and John [de Warenne], Earl Warenne, so that the number of monks might be increased by 13 (details given), with permission to take possession on the death or resignation of John de Houtan, the present rector, and reserving to the archbishop the ordination of a vicar. With notarial subscription by J. de A. [John de Aldefeld], clerk and notary public (witnesses named).
