Continues on next folio:
Summary: Ordination of a perpetual vicarage in the church of Bolton upon Dearne (Bolton super Dyrne), recently appropriated to the prior and convent of Monk Bretton (Munkebretton), including a stipend of 8 marks a year to be paid by William Basset, monk appointed to receive this; without notarial subscription or witnesses. A decorated cross towards the end of the text shows where an extra clause, stating that the vicar is not to receive more than the sum stipulated for him from the church, is to be added: this is copied at the foot of the page, with a note stating that it was added on the instructions of G. de Welton, chancellor.
