Summary: Petition to the archbishop by J de Tocham, proctor of Henry de Bluntesdon [Blunsdon], archdeacon of Dorset, residing at Salisbury and unable to come to the north because of old age and weakness, that Henry should not be molested, having been cited before the official of the court of York for non residence; selling of tithes before separation and altarage of the chapels of Cropton (Croppeton) and Lockton (Loketon), for none were sold in the parish of Middelton (Midelton) that year and because two priests had a stipend of one mark per annum before the obventions of the altar; with a petition by Tocham, proctor of Peter de Shenedon, rector of Slingsby (Slengesby), also cited for non residence, not to be molested because the archbishop allowed him non residence for two years from Michaelmas [29 September] last (insert).
