Summary: Commission of the archbishop as papal executor to the archdeacon of Durham, following receipt of letters of Pope Clement V (recited), dated at Poitiers, 21 December 1307, for execution of the papal mandate contained within ordering the reception in the abbey of Brother Walter de Castro Novo [? Newcastle], canon of Alnwick Abbey, who wishes to return to his house, from which he had been ejected without reasonable cause, and payment of annuarium [or anniversarium] on his re-entry as per a statute of Pope Gregory VIII.
