| Summary: | Royal writ to the sheriff of Gloucestershire for a respite or stay of a demand on the archbishop for debts of Walter [? de Gray], archbishop of York, for the first scutage granted to Henry III and of Walter [Giffard], archbishop of York, as constable of the Tower of London, and for wines received from Poncius de Mora and Gregory de Rudesleye; with a memorandum concerning the demand for the debts from the executors of the two former archbishops, and an action of the present archbishop against the executors relating to the same. |
