Summary: Licence for the appropriation by the prior and convent of Bolton in Craven of the parish church of Harewood, pursuant to papal letters of Innocent VI [dated at Avignon, 15 January 1353] reciting the petition of Sir John de Lisle, lord of Rougemont (Rubeo Monte), Ely diocese, that the monastery can no longer support its obligations of hospitality and cannot be sustainably governed due to Scottish incursions, wars and the recent pestilence [incomplete].
