Letters patent of the chapter of York, following receipt of letters patent of King Edward III (recited), dated at Westminster, 10 October 1341, containing notification of his collation of the prebend of Wetwang in York Minster, in the gift of the king during a vacancy of the see of York, to William de Kyldesby [Kilsby], clerk, and mandate of King Edward III (recited), dated at Westminster, 10 October 1341, to the dean and chapter of York, for the installation of William, and following an inquisition into the vacancy of the prebend performed by Walter de Wetewang [Wetwang], clerk, and Roger, perpetual vicar of Wetwang (Wetewang) (details given), containing notification of their admission and institution of William to the prebend and intention to order his induction.
