| Summary: | Inhibition to Master William de Honynton, advocate and commissary of the court of Canterbury, from attempting to hear any appeal, or from causing anything of this nature to be attempted, in the cause relating to an annual pension appealed to Archbishop Thoresby as chancellor of England, brought by Thomas de London, Thomas de Walmesford [Wansford], Peter de Wotton and John de Harewell, canons of the royal free chapel of St Martin le Grand, London, plaintiffs, and Ralph de Brantyngham [Brantingham], also canon of the same chapel, defendant, which Ralph complains has been falsely heard by Master William pretending himself to be commissary of the dean of the chapel and peremptorily citing him to hear definitive sentence [entry unfinished]. |
