| Summary: | Confirmation to William de Brokelesby, rector of Wilford (Wylford), of his institution and induction to that church, in the patronage of Gervase, son of Robert and Margaret de Clyfton [Clifton], by the archbishop's commissary, Master Thomas de Nova Villa [Neville], professor of civil law. Recites Nova Villa's letters (dated at Bishopthorpe, 4 June 1328), which in turn recite the archbishop's letters appointing him to carry this out (dated at Bishopthorpe, 3 June 1328). |
