Summary:	Order to Wodehous not to prejudice the king's right of collation to the office of treasurer of York, without consulting the king. Edward I conferred the treasurership on Bedewynde, during a vacancy in the archbishopric, and afterwards Bedewynde exchanged that office with Mare for the church of North Ferriby, with the archbishop's consent. Mare still holds the treasurership, but the king is informed that the office has been conferred upon Cardinal Mortemart, by papal authority, and the archdeacon has begun the process of induction. Similar inhibitions to various others (named).

2 . TNA - CPR 1367-70, p.220

Summary:	Letter to Archbishop Thoresby, noting that while the prior and convent of Selby obtained the king's licence to elect a new abbot on the death of Gaddesby, elected Shirburn and requested the king's assent, he understands that the election was made simoniacally and not by consent of the whole chapter, and thus orders Thoresby to investigate and proceed accordingly, even though the king has not yet given assent.
