Summary:	Letters patent of confirmation by Archbishop Neville of a grant in mortmain of 17 marks annual rent by FitzWilliam from his manors of East, Chapel and West Haddlesey, held of Gaunt, for two chantry chaplains in the church of Chapel Haddlesey, to celebrate for the soul of Stapilton. Recites a royal licence, issued on 10 November 1385, and grants to the two chaplains, dated 1 January 1386 (details given).

Summary:	Collation and order for induction of John Curteys, chaplain, to the chantry of the chapel of St John the Baptist, East Haddlesey (Esthathelsay), vacant on the resignation of John Baroun, the previous chaplain, the collation belonging to the archbishop through lapse of time; with memorandum that Curteys did not swear to take on the burdens belonging to the chantry, according to the ordinance made for the chantry, because the chantry is so impoverished that this is not possible, but he swore to do so when it has returned to its former state. And the same is true for the chantry in the church of St Mary Castlegate, York, mentioned above (three entries).
