Summary: Grant to Staunton that he may hold the prebend of Husthwaite in York Minster of the collation of the archbishop of York. The king had collated him, since it was in the king's gift on account of the late vacancy in the archbishopric, and ordered Archbishop Melton to induct him, but Hustwayt opposed this. However, to avoid litigation, they agreed an exchange, and he did not want to prejudice any rights.

Summary: Order to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer to deliver to Archbishop Melton two dies to mint coins, according to the king's previous order, notwithstanding their certificate. The king understood from process before Vallibus and his fellow justices in eyre in the reign of Edward I that Archbishop Greenfield and his predecessors were accustomed to have two such dies, and ordered the treasurer and barons to inspect the record and deliver the dies to Archbishop Melton, but the treasurer and barons noted that in 29 Edward I [1300-1301], when the dies were last delivered [to Archbishop Corbridge], the king had an exchange in York, and since the king now has no exchange there, they suspended their delivery awaiting clarification. The king believes that the archbishop ought to have the dies as his predecessors had them.

Summary: Grant to the abbot and convent of Meaux of the right to nominate clergy to the churches of Keyingham and Easington, in accordance with a grant made by Edward I [details given]. Edward I had granted them land in Skipsea, with the advowsons of Skipsea, Easington and Keyingham, and they have now petitioned that although Edward I and previous lords of Skipsea had had the right to nominate clerks to the abbot of Aumale for presentation, a right that ought now pass to Meaux, they have been prevented, even though they granted Hull and Myton to the king in exchange for the advowsons.
