Pleading attached, stating that the current prior granted a bovate of land in Thorpe to Blaykeston for ten years, with the right of presentation if the prebend fell vacant in that time. The prior acknowledged the grant, but said he had never prevented Blaykeston from presenting. Writ to the keeper of the spiritualities of York, during the vacancy, to allow Blaykeston to present, and to the sheriff to summon a jury on the prevention. |
