Summary:	Request that the sheriff of Nottinghamshire be ordered to restore the chattels of Stephen Pavely, clerk, which had been taken into the king's hands after Pavely was indicted concerning the death of Sir Richard Pavely. He had been transferred to the custody of the dean and chapter of York, as keepers of the spirituality during the vacancy after the death of Archbishop Corbridge, by Ingham and Malory, justices of gaol delivery at York, and Stephen has since purged himself according to church custom.
