| Summary: | Commission of oyer and terminer to Ughtred and others on complaint from Archbishop Thoresby that he appointed Routh and Burton as his commissaries to correct issues discovered during visitations of the deaneries of Ainsty and Pontefract, but Saxton, Gyffon and [un-named] others assaulted them at Ryther, destroyed their documents detailing those issues, by which he lost £100 from the issues of the visitation, and they also forced Rough and Burton to absolve them from the excommunication which they incurred, and never to reveal these actions. |
