The king claimed that Archbishop Greenfield appointed Sancto Albano to the prebend, but Sancto Albano died during the vacancy after the death of Archbishop Melton, when the spiritualities were in the king's hands, and thus the presentation belongs to the king. Harwedon denied this, but did not appear at the next hearing and the king recovered the presentation by default. Order to the archbishop to admit the king's nominee. |
