[This final request is partially illegible, and difficult to recover.]

Summary: The canons of St John's, Beverley state that Mansfield has wasted the church's lands and tenements during a dispute with Wendlyngburgh over the office of provost, and they request writs of prohibition to the archbishop and Mansfield, and a writ to the chapter not to allow any damage to be done. They request that the income of the provost be saved until the matter is discussed, and that letters be sent to the executors of Thoresby. Response that these requests were agreed by the council on 1 February 1381, in the presence of various lords [named].
