Summary:	Certification by the chapter of York, in the absence of the dean, of receipt and confirmation of a commission of [person] (recited), dated at the archbishop's castle of Cawood, 23 September 1404, to expedite an exchange of benefices proposed between John Wace, chaplain of the chantry at the altar of St Nicholas in the church of York, Holy Trinity, Goodramgate, and Robert de Elmeswell [Elmswell], vicar of the parish church of Strensall, and notification of Elmeswell's institution into the chantry, patron: mayor and commonalty of York; with a note of an order, dated 6 October 1404, for the induction of Elmswell to the chantry.
