| Summary: | Order to the treasurer and barons to examine the account of Sancto Albano and William, son of Robert de Grenefeld, executors of the will of Archbishop Greenfield, and if they find that 689 marks 5s 5d from the archbishop's goods came into the hands of Edward II, and has not been paid to the executors, then they are to make allowance against the archbishop's debts. The executors have petitioned the king that following the archbishop's death, the keepers of the temporalities took goods to that sum into the king's hands and have not returned them. |
